Born in San Luis Potosi to parents from France and Mexico, respectively, musician Leo Prakash has long explored the connecting thread between cultures through artistic expression. At 14, he began to study the Sitar and a passion for North Indian Hindustani music was ignited. In the intervening years, Leo’s work has taken many important twists and turns, meshing strains of Japanese folk with Anatolian melody. Most notably, he is a founding member of Mardeleva.
